I’ve had these for 3 weeks now and I am not disappointed! These are really good, so comfy and just looks really good. I love headset that can also be worn out and about AND be customised!!! The sound is really good with the 3D and the quality is top notch, but that is to be expected of steelseries. But the best part is the different colors and stuff you can buy for it (I’m a gaming girlie so I love when I can match it with my setup)

I don't want to start any drama between companies, but I wasn't aware of what I was missing in terms of audio quality until I swapped out my old headphones for these SteelSeries. When I jumped in the voice chat with my friends, they immediately said I sounded different, more clear and pronounced, haha. The battery life was also a step up, also the ear cushions being removable and washable was great because my old "pleather" ear pads were crumbling....it wasn't a good look haha

Very good headset, fits well in the ears. Quality sound and microphone. No problems so far. Many modes available in the proprietary app. I just changed the headband to a black one instead of green (it goes better with my desk).

J'ai acheté de casque il y a un mois et j'en suis très satisfait. Il tient bien à la tête sans être lourd et sans compresser les oreilles. Les contrôles sont faciles d'accès et la personnalisation via logiciel et bien pensée. Seul bémol, le micro doit être ajusté à chaque sortie xar il remonte à chaque fois.

Using them for work so far, haven't tested them for gaming. People have said the Mic is very crisp and clear, and that they can't hear my coworkers around me (who are quite noisy). Audio has been great so far. I can hear everyone fine. You can even have audio for people while playing music through the Bluetooth at like 10-20% volume.

Got the headset 1 month ago, really comfortable to use for hours with getting pinching feeling, they allmost float on your head. Love the cushing, since its like foam and not like leather ones wich makes my ears sweat. Good sound , easy to adjust from game to chat and all. Would definetly reccommend it

I have never hated a headset so much! I purchased this headset because of all the great reviews, however, this headset is a complete disappointment. Their are now eq presets that are easy to adjust. The steelseries gg program you have to download is excessively complicated as well. I got these headphones to use on an Xbox console. I would HIGHLY recommend getting a different set of headphones if you plan on playing on a console. I can't get the headphones to do a firmware update (which was required straight out of the box). Nothing about this headset is user friendly. These headphones will probably end up being target practice and I'll never purchase another steel series products again.
Short list contender if you can deal with the update woes.

For the price this is a decent headset, especially if you catch it on sale. Pros: Sound quality is good overall, The mic is very clear, Controls are easy to use and well placed, although I do wish they had a little more texture to them. The headset’s light and comfortable to wear even for long gaming sessions, Battery life is really good. Cons: Updating the software is a nightmare, especially for console users as it has to be updated on a PC. The software isn’t exactly small either, it’s similar to installing a full sound card. And unfortunately nearly all the features the software offers aren’t for use on console, they’re for PC use only. Razor really should work with Xbox & PlayStation more closely, and make updates available on the console’s dashboard. The other issue is it doesn’t come with Dolby or DTS installed. You have to purchase both directly from either Dolby or DTS and install them. The cost for both can add another $40 plus dollars. Beyond updating or the software, the only issue is you will tend to get the effect you’re talking with your hands covering your ears when you talk. From what multiple friends with different headsets have said is it’s an issue with most closed ear headsets. That said the 9x have a setting to relieve this issue as a few of my friends have noted. Overall it’s a good headset for the money, just expect you might have issues updating it, and there’s additional cost for Dolby or DTS.

The shallow earcups are uncomfortable. The TB stealth has ear cups that go over your ear very comfortably (try in-store), but these feel cheap sitting on your head and hurt. THEY DON’T EVEN SOUND THAT GREAT! Sound like Sony Walkman headphones and build quality. Not sure where all the 5 stars is coming from.
